A trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, spiritual, informational support, and advocacy to a birthing parent/their family or anyone going through a significant transition such as gender transitions, grief and loss. A doula is someone who honors and celebrates the holistic connection between mind, body and spirit.
As your doula, I am dedicated to empowering you to take charge of your own health and self determination, rather than being a passive recipient of services. I approach my carework from a person-centered, trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming lens. There is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to carework and I will meet you where you're at and begin from there.
All services I offer are rooted in intersectional feminist values and I strive to stay accountable to a decolonial and anti-oppressive practice. The way I show up in my role as a doula is continually evolving to support the diverse needs of clients I work with. I have experience working with and supporting 2S-LGBTQ+ parents/families, poly/ENM parents/families, solo parents, high risk pregnancies, neurodiverse parents/families and individuals navigating mental health challenges and trauma (interpersonal, medical, racial, intergenerational).
